SAM stands for the Marine Science Association, Myanmar, a non-profit, non-governmental organization of marine scientists founded in 2008, focused on research, conservation, and sustainable development of Myanmar's marine and coastal areas.

    To ensure the sustainability of natural resources through a systematic management approach involving collaborative efforts from stakeholders, aimed at mitigating the impacts of climate change.

    To empower local communities in conservation and enhance collaborative practices among stakeholders.
